GRACE Design Studies
What comes after clothing?
Harmony Wear begins with forms we already know. GRACE Design Studies begins where those forms stop being enough.
The programme explores how clothing might change when support, posture, movement, temperature and interaction are considered as part of the garment itself.
Some studies become products. Others remain experiments. All of them help shape what comes next.
When structure becomes wearable.
Traditional tailoring shapes fabric around the body. Structured Core asks what happens when the garment itself begins to provide support. Integrated structural elements explore stability, pressure distribution and posture while preserving the visual language of everyday clothing.
One garment. One system.
The Harmony Suit investigates clothing as a complete environment rather than a collection of separate layers. Soft construction, controlled fit and integrated elements reduce seams, adjustment and unnecessary decisions. What began as clothing for the home now extends into rest, recovery and everyday use.

The future of clothing.
What if we stopped designing clothes?
Most clothing starts with something that already exists. A dress becomes shorter. A jacket becomes softer. A trouser gets a different cut. Fashion changes constantly, but its basic vocabulary has remained remarkably familiar for generations.
So on a Friday afternoon, the GRACE Design Team tried something different. They started with a blank sheet of paper.
No dress. No trousers. No skirt. No assumptions about which pieces belong together. Just one question:
If we designed clothing around the human body today, what would we actually make?
The result became an experimental study in what GRACE calls structured freedom.
Structure, reconsidered
The body becomes part of the design language.
At its centre is the Structured Core: a precisely shaped upper layer that follows the natural architecture of the female body rather than disguising it.
It supports the torso, encourages an upright posture and creates a defined silhouette without relying on the traditional construction of a jacket, corset or dress.
The female form is not treated as something that needs to be hidden or corrected. It becomes part of the design language.
Movement without a hem
The conventional skirt, deliberately broken apart.
Two flowing side panels create the movement, elegance and visual softness of a skirt while leaving the front open.
There is no fabric pulling across the knees, no restrictive hem and considerably more freedom when walking, sitting or moving quickly.
But freedom should not mean feeling exposed. The open construction is paired with a sculpted Pelvic Shield: a fitted protective layer providing coverage where it matters while allowing the legs to remain unrestricted.
One coherent system
Several traditional garments become one.
A continuous second-skin base layer connects the Core and Pelvic Shield into a coherent system. It supplies unrestricted mobility and removes the visual and physical interruptions created by conventional layering.
Each element has a purpose. The Core supports posture. The open skirt creates movement. The Pelvic Shield provides coverage and security. The base layer preserves mobility. The side panels restore softness and visual movement.
The line completed
Structure above. Structure below.
High boots complete the silhouette and give the lower body the same visual definition as the Core above.
None of these elements exists purely for decoration. Together they create something difficult to describe using the vocabulary of conventional fashion.
