Fall Household Reuse Collection Scheduled for September 19–20
The City of Silverdale will hold its annual fall household reuse collection on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20. Residents may place eligible reusable items at the curb for collection and redistribution through participating local organizations.

Silverdale Public Library Reopens After Major Renovation
Following an extensive renovation, the Silverdale Public Library will reopen with renewed reading spaces, upgraded facilities and a new seven-day opening schedule. Beginning September 1, the library will be open every day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

New Ambulance Added to Silverdale Emergency Fleet
The Public Safety Department has placed a new advanced-life-support ambulance into service.
The vehicle replaces a twelve-year-old unit that will remain available as a reserve ambulance. It includes redesigned equipment storage requested by local paramedics.
