Fall Household Reuse Collection Scheduled for September 19–20
The City of Silverdale Department of Public Works will conduct its annual fall household reuse collection on September 19 and 20, 2026.
All participating items must be clearly marked with the official green reuse label, available at City Hall, the Silverdale Public Library and participating neighborhood centers. Items without a label will not be collected.
Usable goods will be sorted and distributed through local reuse partners. Items that cannot be accepted remain the responsibility of the property owner and must be removed from the curb by 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Residents of apartment buildings and managed housing communities should contact their property manager before placing items in shared collection areas.
“Many household items discarded during the fall moving period still have years of useful life left. This collection gives those items a practical route back into the community while keeping sidewalks and regular waste collection clear.”
