Russell “Russ” Navarro
I’ve hauled freight through more states and provinces than I can remember, and I still prefer two-lane roads when the schedule allows it. My truck has been my office, kitchen, bedroom, and occasionally my therapist for most of my adult life. I’ll take Alberta at sunrise over downtown L.A. at rush hour any day. Coffee stays black, country music stays loud, and anyone who says truck-stop food is all bad hasn’t been paying attention. Home is Northern California, though I’ve spent enough nights everywhere else to argue about the best breakfast in half the continent.

“I finished it last week and honestly hated it. Not because the characters were unpleasant, I can handle unpleasant, but because every time the book had something interesting to say, it seemed determined to b…”

“Harper looked good last season, but I still want to see what happens when they’re actually under pressure. I’m cautiously optimistic.”
