IT guy by day, defender of actual science fiction by night. I collect comics, build PCs, go to way too many conventions, and can probably identify a Star Trek episode from the first thirty seconds. Yes, I still live with my parents; the rent is excellent and my mom makes better lasagna than you do. Star Trek asks what humanity could become, while Star Wars asks what happens if space wizards get family issues, so please stop telling me they're basically the same thing. I’m currently running out of shelf space but refuse to accept that this means I own too much stuff. Looking for people who can argue about fictional technology without getting genuinely angry about it.
